Clearly, there are differing views on this matter, ranging from an optimistic view that Australia’s close involvement with US global military strategy will help eradicate non-traditional security threats such as terrorism to a less sanguine view that Australia’s involvement with US global military strategies will have a negative impact and will engender a greater regional security threat to Australia as a result.
